Responsibilities include administering therapies, reviewing orders, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and infection control. Benefits start Day 1; 12-hour shifts; PRN schedule.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of Respiratory Care modalities, therapies, equipment and medications.
• Ability to read and follow flow chart protocols.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with EMR and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care services including oxygen and aerosol therapy and ventilation.
• Reviews orders and provides therapy based on patient condition; follows physician protocols.
• Performs routine and advanced respiratory therapy prioritizing patient needs.
• Instructs patients on equipment use and monitors response to therapy.
• Documents treatments and charges; reports outcomes and recommendations.
• Adheres to infection control, HIPAA, attendance, and policies.
