The ideal candidate will have an RRT credential with Texas RCP licensure, BLS within 30 days of hire, and the ability to work under pressure on night shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience beyond minimum
• Less than 1 year of experience
• BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer
• Texas-licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
• RRT certification from NBRC

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care services including oxygen and aerosol therapy, inhaled medications, airway clearance, and ventilation.
• Conducts bedside spirometry as ordered by physician and follows approved protocols.
• Performs routine and advanced respiratory therapy prioritizing patient needs in dynamic environments.
• Instructs patients on respiratory care equipment and monitors response to therapy.
• Documents treatments and charges; reports outcomes and recommendations to the team.
