Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center is seeking a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist to join its team. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders and protocols.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, licensed in Texas, with NBRC-registered status and 6+ months of experience. BLS and ACLS are required; NRP and pALS must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Texas licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist status with NBRC required.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in Texas (TMB)

Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC)
