Job description

Location: Gulf Coast Medical Center - 13681 Doctor's Way, Fort Myers, FL 33912

Department: Retail Pharmacy

Work Type: PRN

Shift: Shift 1 / 8:00 AM to 8:15 PM - Must be able to work various shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:15 PM. Will be required to work weekends and holidays.

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $21.14 per hour

Summary

Assists the Pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and control of medications throughout the facility. All duties shall be performed in accordance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulatory standards, professional practice standards, and policies of the health system/pharmacy department.

Educational Requirements

• Degree/Diploma: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Years: 1 Year
• Area of Experience: Pharmacy Technician

Additional Requirements

Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

State of Florida Licensure Requirements

• License: Registered Pharmacy Technician License (Required)

Certifications/Registration Requirements

• Certificates/Registrations: CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician), preferred. Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required within 90 days of employment.
