Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) for self-scheduling with 8- and 12-hour shifts. Work across high acuity adult inpatient behavioral health and psychiatric urgent care, with 32 hours every 6 weeks and weekend coverage requirements.

Qualified candidates have an active Michigan RN license, be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, and BSN is preferred. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

PRN Registered Nurse (RN) | Self-Scheduling | 8 & 12-Hour Shifts

Opportunities are available to work with different patient populations and levels of care, including:

• High Acuity Adult Inpatient
• Adult Psychiatric Urgent Care

PRN Self-Scheduling

• Minimum 32 hours per 6-week schedule
• 24 of those hours must be worked on a weekend
• Weekend hours include shifts beginning Friday at 11 PM through Sunday at 3 PM
• 2 assigned holidays per year
• 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available

What You’ll Do

As an RN, you’ll work alongside an interdisciplinary behavioral health team to:

• Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide and coordinate nursing care
• Support medication management and patient safety
• Educate patients and families
