Millwood Hospital is a 134-bed facility in Arlington, TX, part of Universal Health Services. The Staff Nurse (RN) coordinates and evaluates patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, employing the nursing process and standards of care.

Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Shifts run 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with orientations in Week 1. Texas RN licensure and CPR/CPI training are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: 2 years in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
• Additional: CPR certification and CPI training; training within 90 days of employment.

The hospital is less than 35 minutes from DFW International Airport. Position Summary:

The Staff Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

Typical Work Hours:

8 hour shifts (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

Must be available to attend the Full hospital and departmental orientations: Week 1: MONDAY -FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM)

Requirements

• Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of three (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of CPI training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment. Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
