Job summary

Premise Health in Wilmington, DE is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to care for client employees and dependents at our Health Centers. Flexible as-needed coverage with 9-hour days and 1-hour lunch, 7am-6pm windows, at sites including Selbyville and Millsboro.

You will perform exams, tests, vaccinations, and therapies within scope; maintain records, follow infection control, and educate patients on health promotion.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in DE required.
• 3+ years RN experience in ER or occupational health/ambulatory care.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required per contract.
• Phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and vaccine administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
