Job summary

Essential Pregnancy Services is seeking a skilled PRN nurse to join the Health & Wellness team in Omaha. This on-site position supports clients during peak workload times, vacations, or illness. Responsibilities include nurse consultations, limited obstetric ultrasound, pregnancy testing, and STI screening coordination.

The role requires an active Nebraska RN license, current BLS, and ongoing education, with responsibilities expanding through monthly meetings and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing License in the state of Nebraska.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Willing to complete Limited Obstetric Ultrasound Training and 54-75 required supervised scans.

Responsibilities

• Provide same day Nurse Consult to all EPS clients.
• Perform Limited Obstetric Ultrasounds per Standing Orders.
• Administer Pregnancy tests per Standing Orders.
• Collect urine specimens and prep STI Screening kits per Standing Orders.
• Enter lab orders for STI screenings and send specimens to NPHL.
• Mail or call STI lab results to clients within 7-10 business days.
