Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina in Camden, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process. Under general supervision, you will deliver safe and effective care and collaborate with other health care team members to achieve desired outcomes.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), SC RN license (or compact state) and current BLS; ACLS is also required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Deliver safe and effective care and collaborate with the health care team.
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts as part of a 48-hour per six-week schedule.
