Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide coverage at our employer-sponsored health center in Stamford, CT. The role includes front and back-office duties, patient assessment, and coordination with physicians to ensure resources and tools are available.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, vaccinations, patient education, and maintaining patient flow. CT licensing is required; NY/NJ licensure is needed for multi-state coverage.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing license in Connecticut (CT).
• Must obtain licensure in New York (NY) and New Jersey (NJ).
• Active BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in primary care.
• At least 2 years working in an administrative capacity.
• Must have exceptional phlebotomy skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical duties including patient assessment and reporting to the nurse practitioner.
• Educate patients on disease management and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Extensive use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Perform venipuncture and basic laboratory tests; coordinate with contracted labs.
