Job summary

Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for PRN shifts to lead nursing care for patients and families. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while documenting thoroughly and coordinating with the care team.

This role requires an Associate's or BSN in Nursing, NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply) with the license obtained within 30 days of start date, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or BSN in Nursing
• Licensure: NC Board of Nursing RN license; eNLC may apply; license must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Experience: One year hospital nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to facilitate professional nursing care for patients' comfort and well-being.
• Uses nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families.
