Job summary

CareGivers NW in Boise is looking for an experienced RN for flexible, PRN in-home assessment work in the Boise/Treasure Valley area. This is not shift nursing; there are no set weekly hours or regular schedules.

Visits are completed as they become due, and you can schedule directly with participants within the required timeframe. Most visits occur in the Boise/Treasure Valley area, with occasional travel to surrounding communities such as Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Mountain Home, and Weiser.

Qualifications

• Active Idaho RN license.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Boise/Treasure Valley area.
• Ability to work independently in participants' homes.

Responsibilities

• Complete in-home nursing assessments and care-plan visits.
• Complete significant-change assessments when needed.
• Schedule visits directly with participants or their representatives.
• Complete required documentation following each visit.
• Communicate relevant changes or concerns to the agency.
• Provide occasional caregiver training, potentially on a monthly basis.

CareGivers NW is looking for an experienced RN in the Boise/Treasure Valley area for flexible, PRN in-home assessment work.

This is not shift nursing. There are no set weekly hours and no regular schedule. Visits are completed as they become due, and you will have flexibility to schedule directly with participants within the required timeframe.

The majority of visits are in the Boise/Treasure Valley area, with occasional travel to surrounding communities including Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Mountain Home, and Weiser. Additional compensation is provided for designated outlying travel.

This role is a good fit for an RN looking for supplemental work, more control over their schedule, and less traditional bedside nursing.

Compensation

• $120–$200 per completed visit, depending on visit type
• Additional compensation for designated outlying travel
• Caregiver training paid separately

What you’ll do

• Complete in-home nursing assessments and care-plan visits

What we’re looking for

• Active Idaho RN license
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel throughout the Boise/Treasure Valley area and occasionally to surrounding communities
• Ability to work independently in participants’ homes
• Experience in home health, case management, Medicaid, long-term care, community nursing, or a similar setting is preferred
• Ability to complete required background screening

Expected workload: variable PRN schedule with several visits per month. Some months may be lighter or heavier depending on assessment due dates and participant needs.
