Elior North America is seeking an experienced PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare & food service team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will assess nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals.

*This position will typically be scheduled 8 - 16 hours per week.* This on-site role offers the opportunity to collaborate with the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) required.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• CDR national exam passed or eligible for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
