Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare and food service team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to support nutritional status, and help improve quality of life aligned with patient goals.

This role typically schedules 8–16 hours per week, on-site, with competitive hourly compensation and growth opportunities within our hospitality-focused healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or meets requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures regarding dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development and review of continuous quality improvement programs.
