Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for our healthcare team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving patients' quality of life.

The position is PRN, typically 8-16 hours per week, with a pay range of $35.00-$40.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees required, plus CDR exam or eligibility and state licensure.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
