Job summary

HealthCARE Express seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a PRN Regional Float Provider in Oklahoma. The role provides coverage across urgent care clinics based on patient volume, staffing needs, and clinic coverage.

Shifts are PRN with no guaranteed hours. You'll evaluate and treat patients in urgent care, order tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Oklahoma.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-paced clinics is strongly preferred.
• Dependable, adaptable and confident working independently, able to join different clinic teams as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an urgent care setting as part of our clinical teams.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries; order and interpret tests as appropriate.
• Prescribe medications when indicated; perform procedures within your scope of practice.
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions to ensure quality care.
• Flex shifts and clinic locations will vary based on operational needs.

HealthCARE Express is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a PRN Regional Float Provider. This position will provide additional coverage across our Oklahoma urgent care clinics based on patient volume, staffing needs, and clinic coverage.

This is a great fit for a provider who enjoys the flexibility of PRN work, is comfortable working in different clinic environments, and can step in and provide excellent patient care wherever coverage is needed.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Regional Float Provider, you'll evaluate and treat patients in an urgent care setting while working alongside our clinical teams to keep patient care moving efficiently. You'll diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries, order and interpret appropriate testing, prescribe medications when indicated, perform procedures within your scope of practice, and provide patient education and follow-up instructions.

Because this is a float position, flexibility is important. Shifts and clinic locations will vary based on operational needs, with increased opportunities for coverage during higher-volume periods.

What We're Looking For

Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Oklahoma. Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, or other fast-paced clinical experience is strongly preferred.

We're looking for providers who are dependable, adaptable, confident working independently, and comfortable stepping into different clinic teams as needed.

Schedule

Schedule: PRN, based on clinic coverage needs and provider availability. This position does not have a guaranteed number of hours or shifts, and available coverage will vary based on patient volume and operational needs.

Pay

Pay: $75.00 per hour
