Job summary

HealthCARE Express is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a PRN Regional Float Provider across Oklahoma urgent care clinics. The role offers flexibility to cover clinics based on patient volume, staffing needs, and coverage requirements.

You'll evaluate and treat patients in urgent care settings, order tests, prescribe medications when indicated, and provide patient education.

Status: PRN Regional Float

Float Locations: Choctaw, Midwest City & Moore, OK

HealthCARE Express is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a PRN Regional Float Provider. This position will provide additional coverage across our Oklahoma urgent care clinics based on patient volume, staffing needs, and clinic coverage.

This is a great fit for a provider who enjoys the flexibility of PRN work, is comfortable working in different clinic environments, and can step in and provide excellent patient care wherever coverage is needed.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Regional Float Provider, you'll evaluate and treat patients in an urgent care setting while working alongside our clinical teams to keep patient care moving efficiently. You'll diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries, order and interpret appropriate testing, prescribe medications when indicated, perform procedures within your scope of practice, and provide patient education and follow-up instructions.

Because this is a float position, flexibility is important. Shifts and clinic locations will vary based on operational needs, with increased opportunities for coverage during higher-volume periods.

What We're Looking For

Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Oklahoma. Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, or other fast-paced clinical experience is strongly preferred.

We're looking for providers who are dependable, adaptable, confident working independently, and comfortable stepping into different clinic teams as needed.

Schedule: PRN, based on clinic coverage needs and provider availability. This position does not have a guaranteed number of hours or shifts, and available coverage will vary based on patient volume and operational needs.

Pay: $75.00 per hour
