Job summary

Healix Infusion Therapy, LLC is seeking a PRN Regional Coverage RN to support infusion services in the Dallas, TX area. You will travel to Office Infusion Centers, provide comprehensive nursing care, and precept staff while delivering IV therapies and patient education.

Ideal candidates have a BSN or ADN, 2+ years of RN experience, and infusion or critical care background. Strong communication skills and independent work style are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • BSN or ADN required; licensed in Texas.
  • 2+ years’ RN clinical experience.
  • Critical care or outpatient/home infusion experience preferred.
  • Recent IV administration and catheter management experience.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently at the site and with the corporate clinical team.

Responsibilities

  • Travels to various Office Infusion Centers (OIC) for staffing and follow up training.
  • Acts as preceptor to nurses.
  • Comprehensive nursing assessment.
  • PIV and Central line care and access.
  • Patient teaching and/or instructions of medication and disease process.
  • Medication preparation and administration.
  • Patient safety, monitoring, and follow-up.
  • Coordination of care with other disciplines; referral management.

Healix Infusion Therapy, LLC is currently seeking a PRN Regional Coverage Specialist RN to join our nursing team in the Dallas, TX area!SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm). This doesn't include travel time.As a Regional Coverage RN, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical services in an infectious disease, gastroenterology, or allergy/asthma specialty facility. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment delivering infusion therapy to patients using advanced technology in an entrepreneurial setting.ESSENTIAL DUTIES IN THE INFUSION CENTERInclude the following.
