Job summary

Healix Infusion Care is seeking a Part Time Infusion Nurse to deliver patient care at our infusion center in Wexford, PA. You will administer therapies across multiple specialties, work with nurses, nurse practitioners, and a medical director to ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include Medication preparation, infusion administration, PICC and port access, patient education, and coordinated follow-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in nursing (ADN).
• 2+ years’ experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting preferred.
• Critical care or outpatient/home infusion experience preferred.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for administration in an infusion center.
• Provide infused and injectable medications to scheduled patients.
• Access PICC lines and Port-a-Cath for administration and maintenance.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding infusion therapy.
• Monitor patient treatment, safety and outcomes.
• Coordinate follow-up care with providers and in-center staff.

DescriptionHealix Infusion Care is seeking a Part Time Infusion Nurse to administer patient care services at one of our Infusion Centers located in the Wexford, PA area!As an Infusion Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical services in a multi-specialty infusion center – providing therapy to patients with conditions in the neurological, gastroenterology, rheumatology, cardiology, or allergy/asthma specialties, and more.
