Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and ensures proper identification.
• Performs exams per protocol; reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Observes radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within time limits while preserving care and quality.
• Instructs students and other radiology staff on protocols and equipment.
• Educates patients, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps records of patient data, procedures, and reactions.
• Adheres to coding, charging, consents, QC, and reporting equipment failures.
