Kalkaska Memorial Health Center (KMHC) is seeking a Radiology Technologist - PRN to join our Radiology Department. A Mammography technician performs a variety of duties and is responsible for the care of patients from arrival until departure.

The PRN status offers flexible shifts and the opportunity to contribute to a community-focused health center. We value a strong foundation in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, and a willingness to work in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; completion of an ANA approved course in Radiologic Technology, either in a hospital or college-based school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must have passed the examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and remain in good standing.
• Previous experience as a Mammogram Technologist preferred, but not required.
• CT certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mammography technician performs a variety of duties and is responsible for the care of patients assigned from the time the patient arrives until they leave.
• May assist in the use of a variety of equipment or procedure not routinely taught.
• Assists with testing for quality control in mammography.
• Cleans equipment routinely.

Education

ANA approved Radiologic Technology course

ARRT certification

Mammography experience preferred

CT certification preferred
