Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate X-ray equipment for routine and semi-complex exams. The role supports physicians with accurate imaging and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

As part of the team, you will prepare patients, process images, and communicate with Radiologists. The position requires Texas MRT licensure, ARRT registration, and BLS within 30 days of starting. PRN shift offers flexible scheduling within our hospital network.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) required.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current License as an MRT by the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following procedures for patient care and safety.
• Develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Administer contrast media and medications within state/federal regulations.
• Ensure prompt transfer of images to PACS with correct markers and patient data/history.
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
