Required ARRT certification or eligible, SCRQSA license, and BLS with AHA. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT or ARRT eligible; SCRQSA license required.
• BLS certification per AHA required; advanced ARRT preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
• Apply radiation safety principles and maintain ALARA standards.
• Ensure proper patient identification, positioning, and image quality.
• Provide patient care essential to imaging procedures, including monitoring patient condition.
• Recognize emergency situations and initiate appropriate life support measures when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, physicians, nursing staff, and other departments.
• Comply with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
