Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program in an AMA-approved school.
• Valid ARRT (R) certification.
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to lift patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Take radiographs (x-rays) assisting in diagnoses.
• Obtain high-quality images ensuring optimal conditions.
• Select correct technical factors for radiographic procedures.
• Document clinical information and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain communication with patients and caregivers.
