Job summary

Atrium Health Kings Mountain is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform basic diagnostic x-rays under supervision and assist patients with procedures. You will also support the RIS/EMR workflow and assist with various modalities as needed.

Requires high school diploma and BLS; prior clinical imaging exposure is preferred. This role offers sign-on bonus eligibility and coverage for second shift and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with preliminary coursework toward a certificate or degree in a medical imaging field.
• Clinical experience based on the educational program; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic x-rays supervised by a radiology technologist.
• Assists patients and answers questions about procedures; prepares patients for exams.
• Obtains medications or contrast media per instruction for licensed staff; supports workflow in RIS/EMR.
• Assists physicians and technologists in diagnostic exams across modalities as assigned.
