Job summary

Boulders Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to join our Richmond, VA area team. Under physician direction you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and ensure patient safety and protocol compliance to promote positive outcomes.

You will work with a dedicated team in an ambulatory surgery setting, leveraging ARRT(R) certification, BLS, and state licensure, with opportunities to enhance your large C-Arm experience while supporting our mission within the HCA

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of radiology required.
• Large C-Arm experience preferred.
• Minimum two years radiology tech experience; preferably in OR or surgery center.
• ARRT (R)
• BLS required
• State license as required

Responsibilities

• Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures per physician’s preference card.
• Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition.
• Document records and other forms per approved policies/procedures.
• Confirm all persons in the room are shielded before activating x-ray.
• Communicate patient status to other staff responsible for patient’s care.
• Perform maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment per cleaning, storage, calibration procedures.

Salary: $27 — $38 per hour
Hourly Wage Estimate: $27.36 – $38.30 / hour

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the direction of your Physician, you will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes. You will be tasked with upholding the HCA mission, to commit to the care and improvement of human life.

What you will do:

• Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling your procedures according to your physician’s preference card
• Tests and monitor your equipment for proper working condition
• You will document records and other forms, accurately adhering to approved policies/procedures
• Confirm that all persons in your room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray
• Communicate information about your patient’s status to other staff responsible for your patient’s care
• Perform required maintenance of your instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures

Qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of accredited school of radiology required
• Large C-Arm experience preferred
• Minimum two (2) years of radiology tech experience required; preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting
• ARRT (R)
• BLS required
• State license as required
