Job summary

Boulder Centre for Orthopedics is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic studies and produce high-quality images for physician review. This PRN/hourly position reports to the OR Manager and requires strict adherence to radiation safety, patient privacy (HIPAA), and accurate record keeping.

The ideal candidate is ARRT registered, has graduated from an accredited Radiology program, CPR certified within six months, and brings a team-focused approach to support imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Active ARRT registry.
• CPR certified within six months of hire.
• Colorado Radiation Safety certification completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts radiology exams with precision and safety.
• Implements radiation protection measures to minimize exposure.
• Participates in quality assurance to maintain imaging equipment accuracy.
• Educates patients on imaging procedures and prep instructions.
• Collaborates with radiologists for interpretation and patient care planning.
• Maintains accurate patient records of imaging studies and procedures.
• Assists in developing imaging protocols to improve diagnostic accuracy.
• Pursues continuing education to stay current with radiologic technology.
• Provides imaging support during emergency and trauma situations.
