Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current state license or temporary permit (LSRTBE) and ARRT(R) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment and perform imaging procedures to standards.
• Communicate with patients to obtain history and informed consent; explain procedures.
• Review images with radiologists and identify areas of abnormalities.
• Maintain patient safety, equipment, rooms, and supplies; comply with sterile technique and QA procedures.
