Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation. The role requires competency across imaging equipment, strict safety practices, and teamwork with radiology staff.

The ideal candidate will be ARRT-certified in Radiography or have radiologic technologist experience, with support for varied hours, on‑call pager duties, and potential on-site staffing at different Mayo Clinic locations. BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Organized, efficient, and multifunctional.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on‑call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Radiologic Technologist experience preferred; ARRT certified in Radiography. Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership.
• Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if required).
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively to support diagnostic accuracy.
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication and collaboration.
• Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
• May perform collection and analysis on specimens (e.g., blood, urine) to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensures high level of service to patients through communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
