Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate scanner(s) and produce diagnostic images for patient care. This is a temporary/PRN position with varied shifts, requiring flexibility and a focus on safety and patient communication.

Expect to work closely with radiologists and clinical staff, maintain clean and organized work areas, and ensure proper documentation in the Radiology Information System (RIS) while following HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam and verify patient identity.
• Explain imaging procedures and position patients for optimal imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced radiologic procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and utilize dose reduction techniques as needed.
• Maintain patient records in the RIS and ensure safety and HIPAA compliance.
