Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a PRN Radiation Therapy Tech to join our Radiation Oncology team at 51 N. 39th St.

You will support daily radiation treatments under the direction of the Radiation Manager and Therapy Lead, working with physicists, dosimetrists, and fellow therapists to ensure accurate and safe patient care. Responsibilities include patient education, room setup, equipment preparation, treatment delivery, and documentation, with emphasis on confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• Radiation Therapy Certificate of Completion from an approved program.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred for understanding operating treatment machines.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.
• Verify patient information and prepare treatment room and equipment.
• Position patients and operate treatment machinery following physician prescriptions.
• Assist with CT simulation and daily treatment chart documentation.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of treatment areas and equipment.
