Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Missouri. Working under the supervision of the Manager of Therapy Services, you’ll help patients regain mobility and improve quality of life.

In this PRN role, you’ll partner with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises, assist with evaluations, and educate patients throughout recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Associate's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Assist with patient evaluations, functional testing, and treatment progression.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Help create a positive, patient-centered experience focused on achieving goals and improving quality of life.
