Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support licensed therapists at the Livingston, TX facility, with additional PRN opportunities at nearby sites. The PTA will assist with treatment, documentation, and team communication to ensure high-quality patient care.

Important qualifications include graduating from an accredited PTA program and maintaining an active license in the state. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules.
