Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program, certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license as required by the state.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to providing patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Implement customer-specific treatment plans developed by the primary Physical Therapist.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in performing evaluations, tests, and complex procedures.
• Guide clients through mobility activities, ensuring they understand the skills and techniques needed for success.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to develop tailored programs that match the needs and capabilities of each client.
• Complete all clinical documentation in a timely and organized manner for easy access in resident charts.
• Actively participate in care meetings and contribute to customer care under guidance.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients and their families experience high-quality care.
