Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Waterbury is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our inpatient team on a PRN basis with a flexible schedule. The PTA will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist, providing direct patient care and helping develop individualized treatment plans for chronically and critically ill patients in an inpatient setting.

Inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold PTA license in CT and BLS certification.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Inpatient hospital experience or willingness to learn is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the physical therapist.
• Plan and implement individualized treatment programs.
• Assist in service development and adapt to multiple facilities as needed.
