Job summary

The Lincolnshire Health and Rehabilitation Center in Merrillville, Indiana is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. You will assist in patient evaluations, implement therapy interventions, and support functional restoration for residents.

As a PRN PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services to our residents. About the Role:

As a PRN PTA, you will work closely with our physical therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on restoring function, improving mobility, and enhancing overall quality of life for our patients. Your expertise will enable you to:

• Assist physical therapists in conducting patient evaluations, assessments, and treatments

• Implement physical therapy interventions, such as exercises, modalities, and therapeutic activities

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field preferred

• Current licensure as a PTA in the state of Indiana

• Ability to work Per-Diem schedule, including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
