Job summary

CJW Medical Center's Chippenham Hospital in Richmond is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Technician to support therapists in patient care. You will assist with planned treatments, prepare equipment, and ensure safe, clean treatment areas.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, maintaining supplies, performing clerical duties, and communicating effectively with staff, patients, and families. BLS certification and a high school diploma or progress toward a PT/OT degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or in progress.
• Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy student preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care as directed by therapists.
• Clean and prepare equipment and treatment areas.
• Transport patients to therapy areas.
• Maintain supply inventory and order needed supplies.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.
