Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a PRN Psychiatrist to provide inpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatry moonlighting coverage within a collaborative behavioral health program serving adult patients at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC.

You will join a supportive team, with weekend coverage and flexible supplemental income, handling admission evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning while collaborating with social workers, nurses, and attending psychiatrists.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Washington, DC.
• Strong inpatient psychiatry experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Weekend coverage for adult inpatient behavioral health unit.
• Consultation-liaison psychiatry coverage as needed.
• Admission evaluations.
• Medication management.
• Treatment planning and documentation.
• Collaboration with psychiatric social workers, nursing staff, and attending psychiatrists.
