Job summary

Central Ohio Urology Surgery Center in Ohio is seeking a PRN Preop/PACU RN to join a perioperative care team. This is an as-needed role with shifts during weekdays (6 am–5:30 pm); no nights or weekends, and you will participate in 6 training days within the first 30 days.

You will educate patients preoperatively, monitor post-op recovery, administer medications, document care, and support the team to ensure patient readiness, safety, and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in ICU, ER, Preop, PACU, or Circulating.
• Availability to pick up PRN shifts during weekday operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Assess and educate patients preoperatively.
• Monitor and manage post-op recovery, pain, and vitals.
• Administer medications and IVs safely.
• Identify and respond to complications with urgency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication.
• Ensure patient readiness, safety, and satisfaction.
• Pick up PRN shifts as needed during weekday hours.
• Support team goals with a can-do mindset.
