Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op Assessment Testing Clinic on a PRN, part-time basis. You will deliver individualized nursing care to cancer patients and families, performing phlebotomy, EKG, and pre-anesthesia tasks within guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or ADN with active FL RN licensure, BLS, and relevant pre-op experience. Hybrid/office schedule and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; ADN plus experience acceptable.
• RN licensure in Florida or multi-state license with primary FL residence.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in preoperative assessment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities in the area.
• Engages in professional development per standards and regulatory requirements.
