Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas in Irving, TX, is looking for a motivated PRN Post Surgical Unit/Med‑Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse. Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as an RN in a hospital telemetry or ICU Unit preferred.
• Current Texas RN License.
• Current BLS, must get ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care within scope of RN practice.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients based on individual needs.
• Responds quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.

Skills

Excellent communication skills

Good organization habits

Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Experience with Electronic Health Records

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
