Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from US/Canada or ECFMG-certified for graduates of outside US.
• Completed ACGME or AOA residency program.
• Current unrestricted medical license in one US state or DC.
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate experience in the last 2 years.
• Current BLS with Hands-On skills per AHA.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical histories and physical examinations.
• Review required medical tests and documents for consultations.
• Record findings and assess medical fitness for programs.
• Apply accession medical standards to determine applicant suitability.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and privacy protections.
• Communicate findings with MEPS staff and providers.
