MainStreet Family Care in Smithfield, NC is seeking PRN Physician Assistants to join a fast-paced network across multiple clinics. You’ll work in urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine with wide case variety and supportive teams.

Responsibilities include minor procedures, suturing, X-ray review, EKG interpretation, and treating patients of all ages. Competitive hourly pay with bonus incentives and a $750 CME allowance annually are offered, plus malpractice insurance

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master's degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read).
• EKG interpretation.
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Treating patients of all ages.
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a high-volume environment, and is flexible working with different teams and clinics. New grads are encouraged to apply — haven't taken boards yet? That's okay too!

Responsibilities:

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule:

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
