Job summary

SERC Physical Therapy in Blue Springs, Missouri is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Technician to join our OT/PT clinic. The technician works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist, preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with prescribed exercises, and handling basic treatments.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong customer service and communication, excellent organizational skills, and comfort with computers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assisting and observing patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and documenting responses.
• Performing basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as instructed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, as well as changing and laundering linens.
• Performing administrative tasks, including patient intake, answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
