Qualifications

• AA degree from a school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant under state laws.
• Credentialed/credential eligible by the National Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• One or more years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatments as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
• Observe and evaluate treatment effects; discuss findings with the PT.
• Maintain patient records and meet department standards and policies.
• Participate in infection control, safety, and CQI activities.
• Collaborate with patients and families in the care plan.
