Job summary

Chardon Healthcare Center in Ohio is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. This role offers flexibility and opportunities to make a direct impact on residents’ mobility and independence.

You will support therapy services, assist with treatment plans, and collaborate with the Physical Therapist and family members to ensure continuity of care across our centers.

Qualifications

• A Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Physical Therapy Assistant License.

Responsibilities

• Verifies client information by interviewing client; reviewing and recording medical history; confirming purpose of treatment.
• Helps clients improve their quality of life by helping them compensate for limitations and increase mobility.
• Implements treatment plan through direct treatment and collaboration with Physical Therapist and team.
• Educates other team members and families involved in the treatment plan.
