Qualifications

  • Experience in SNF/Long-term care settings is preferred.

PRN Physical Therapy Assistant - Normandy Terrace

Join our team as a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant at Creative Solutions In HealthCare.

We are seeking a dedicated PTA to provide person-centered care to our residents, helping to achieve positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities
  1. Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
  2. Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, in accordance with physician orders.
  3. Respond to service requests by relaying information and referrals to Physical Therapists.
  4. Implement and modify patient treatment plans with PT supervision.
  5. Measure and record patient motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
  6. Monitor patient responses and modify treatments as appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  7. Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
  8. Ensure thorough and timely documentation, complying with all regulatory standards.
  9. Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
Skills and Requirements
  • Preferred experience in SNF/Long-term care settings.
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices.
  • Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System is a plus.
  • Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities.
  • Valid Texas license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • In good standing with regulatory agencies.
