Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant/PTA program culminating in an Associate Degree.
• Current state licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant/PTA in states where services are rendered.
• CPR certification (when required)

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to provide quality, compassionate care.
• Under supervision of the Physical Therapist, implement patient Care Plans for rehabilitation.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and post charges.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
• Adhere to Company Code of Conduct and applicable laws.
