Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Tipp City, OH is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to deliver therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and a physician's plan of care. This role is PRN, offering flexible scheduling across home health settings.

We require graduation from an accredited PTA program with an associate degree, current CPR, and a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle. Previous in-home health experience is preferred; strong communication and compassion are

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program with an associate’s degree approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Minimum of 1 year PTA experience in-home health or community health/hospice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy treatments per the physical therapist's directions and plan of care.
• Assist patients in therapeutic exercises and functional training.
• Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as directed.
• Document patient progress and maintain clinical records within required timeframes.
