Job summary

Windsor Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Windsor, NC is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) on a PRN basis to join an integrated rehab team. The PTA works under the supervision of a PT to deliver patient-centered care and support the therapy process within facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient progress on progress notes with PT cosignature.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as indicated by Supervisor.
